Muhammad Haseeb Ahmad is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for developing innovative solutions that improve accessibility for people with visual impairments. Currently working as a Mobile Software Engineer Intern at Oath, he is part of the UX Research and Accessibility team where he has been responsible for developing accessibility features for Android apps. His capstone project, "Talking Graphs," aimed to make graphs more accessible to visually impaired users by building a data-to-audio translator and a Machine Learning model to scan graphs at runtime, identify Regions of Interest, and speak a summary in Natural Language. Prior to his current role, Muhammad worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego, where he designed and led effective discussion sections for a course strength of 200 students. He also supervised labs designed in Java over Android, reinforcing engineering practices to build useful, scalable software. Before that, he worked as an Algorithm Analyst - Artificial Intelligence at Afiniti.com, where he created Machine Learning models for call centers and developed a novel clustering algorithm using R and RShiny framework, which resulted in a patent (US 10,135,986 B1). Muhammad has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology. He also completed a Non-Degree Exchange Semester in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has a wealth of experience in software engineering, mobile development, Machine Learning, Android, and research, with a total of 6.93 years of relevant experience. Muhammad is a highly motivated and results-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills. He is a quick learner who is always eager to learn new technologies and apply them to solve complex problems.
